We got them to agree to the back pay they were refusing to give despite having already voted for a law guaranteeing it the last time this guy was in office? Cool.

I spent most of this week in NH (and the rest in RI!) and I can't count the number of times NH people started to explain things that were weird/off about state politics/funding/culture before the rest of the table of New Englanders cut them off saying "yeah, we know..."

No, it's Murphy.
I think much of the anger is rooted in the fact that the party won a huge electoral victory this week and it was a moment to try to extract *more* benefits.

For all of my friends who work for the feds in DC and closer to home, I desperately hope they get what this bill promises they should get if it passes.
