I found having a club that talks about the books they are reading was the most successful. #TLSkyChat
I keep trying to get them to lead a book club - I must persevere! Seriously, though, sometimes you just get the right group of kids, and other times it’s a struggle. But they can all do it if the motivation is there #TLSkyChat

I do love the way their brains work!
One of my favorites was one of my rather overexcited students, deciding that her dynamic shelving included books that were facing the wrong way … She thought they looked cool… I had to explain that no one could see the title of the book 😆🤣 #TLSkyChat
A3: I've had student helpers "shelve" books by shoving them all in one incorrect place. I talked to them later, and explained the issue with that kind of "help". With a bit of coaching, they were able to do a fantastic job. #tlskychat

A1: When I ran a middle school library, I had students help me with so many things. That gave them a sense of ownership and lightened my load. They loved the work, and several told me that they wanted to be librarians in the future. #tlskychat
