I'm a big fan of the probablistic snowfall site and 3-15 inches of snow seems to be the least helpful forecast I've ever seen.

Enjoyed a great visit to Dominican University today. I emailed about 40 of our alumni who attend the school when we arrived and six stopped by while we were eating lunch, all of whom are thrilled with their experience so far.

Shoutout to Benefit Cosmetics, but breaks my brain to know this is potentially needed on a waxing studio.

Both colleges we visited today had Halloween focused merch… and I just don’t get why. This stuff will need to be discounted so much so soon.

TIL public works is exempt from City of Chicago’s construction noise hours restrictions. My alderperson is busy with the most important of fights, so I’ll spare her complaints… but wtf it’s 6 on a Saturday.

10 years ago, my family donated 4k+ pieces of my gpa's/ his peer's art to colleges. I often think about how we’d go back and do things differently, but this weekend I got to see some of the supplies we donated on display (something we prioritized to show how prints can be made in so many ways).

So you won’t be grabbing this from the bookstore? And I’m a Huskers fan, so all about the distaste for badgers.

This morning in Facebook ads that are both well targeted and absolutely not. The article is behind a paywall, but IDK if I can imagine planning a college tour that doesn't involve 48 students and a stop at Jimmy Johns.

Can we please stop creating more things students will feel pressured to do to get into college?
