I remember this fixture vividly, officiating was abominable, and Vidal was completely off the rails. The man belongs in jail. Anyhow it's a VERY different squad on both ends this time around and I don't think Harry will be enough to save them from the juggernaut 🔴⚪🔴⚪

I agree calling Dixon "a racist" isn't helpful and waters down criticism of e.g. Tommy Robinson but should we be asking, publicly, whether he has failed to interrogate his own biases, informed by the broader media centering white players when discussing the Lions? I reckon so. Certainly can't hurt.

Do I think a pair of Englishmen in their sixties have some internalised racial bias? Absolutely. As far as the Lions social media manager I have no idea but to be honest it wouldn't surprise me. The reality is the landscape of British media is unquestionably colored by racism, no denying it.

I think there are two very key factors at play here, but I want to stress that not playing for Arsenal is only one of the two key differences between Foden and the actual goal scorers. British media are absolutely shameless and transparent when it comes to hating both Arsenal and especially PoC.
