Nuclear chemist, interested in anything scientific, cycling, fermentation, music, and the rest. Ratio is always important.
Got this mug from my great working group to celebrate that this decade-old idea was finally realised.

"pink" is the little sister of... I don't know. To use "pink" as descriptive for #tugtupite is an insult. Reindeer-bloodish is the least but I would just describe it as the most marvellous color on the R/M side of the RGB/CYM color scales. Vote #tugtupite #mincup25

"Flammable" 🥸
First, organic chemists convinced inorganic chemists that cooking organic ligands is "inorganic coordination chemistry" and now they try to conquer mineralogy. What comes next? Sacccharose crystals?

A great result of #abandonolysis. From our Tc waste. Might be somepolyoxometallate embedded in sulfates. But that's just a wild guess right now. 🧪 @chemunicologne.bsky.social

While it would maybe have been wiser (but politically complicated) to replace coal+lignit instead of nuclear, the reality is that not only nuclear has been more than replaced by renewables. Also coal+lignite went down after closure of the last NPP.
