I miss robins since moving from Chicago to the Bay Area. Them and cardinals. Mimicking the cardinal call while grilling in the back yard is useless skill here.

I remember vividly in the middle of 2000 going from 5 resumes a week to over 100 for the startup I was in that was still hiring. Today feels closer to that than 2008 for sure.
