To add, I want guaranteed vacation days and parental leave, and a living wage. Basically I want the things that mainstream, right-wing parties in 1990s Europe would give their right testicle to preserve. The world has been arching right for decades and it’s time for the left to say enough is enough.

The world has been arching right for decades and it’s time for the left to say enough is enough.
To be honest, I consider myself left-of-centre but not far left. I want legal protections for minorities, I want a strong safety net for the poor, I want universal healthcare. Anywhere else in the world, I’m at most a centrist. I’m tired of ceding ground. Today, Reagan would be considered a RINO.
