The choir of Christ Church, Philadelphia sang my Evening Service in F this month for their Evensong. It's a rather challenging piece and therefore hasn't been performed much. They did a fantastic job and I'm so happy this piece continues to be sung.

The current state of things has really weighed heavily on me, so I've been not posting much, but after a great weekend of rehearsals, I'm going to try to be more active again on social media. Not sure if anybody reads these anyway!

Here is a NO KINGS (flag day?) concert I did earlier this summer.

Excited to be a part of this project - my first video game soundtrack! This is a NES inspired game, and therefore its music is also NES inspired, using the same sounds that made up the soundtrack of my childhood. Coming soon to the regular gaming markets.

Looking for something worthwhile to do on Sat June 14? Come to the Episcopal Cathedral's Flag Day concert at 1030 and celebrate our King-Free country. It's free, only 45 minutes; you'll have plenty of time to go to other patriotic activities, like the @indivisiblephl.bsky.social rally in Love Park.

I am honored that the Montgomery County Chorale and Orchestra will be playing my orchestral composition "Prelude and Chorale" this Sunday. It is based on a wildly vivid dream I had in 2023, where I heard music so loud (in my dream) that it woke me up. It is dedicated to my parents.

When hate-fueled executive orders prevented these kids (which include some of my wife's students) from having an opportunity to play with the Marine Band, former band members of all the military branches stepped up - on their own dime - and came together to make this concert happen.

After an executive order ending DEI initiatives, the U.S. Marine Band canceled a concert featuring young musicians of color. Veterans stepped in to mentor the aspiring musicians.

This Sunday at 5pm I am playing JS Bach's Clavierubung III on the amazing Fisk organ at Christ Church Philadelphia. It will be about an hour of organ music, with the choir of Christ Church singing chorales in between each piece to help give context to Bach's magnum opus for organ. Also livestreamed:
