Happy Gilmore 2 is a better written film than either Superman or Fantastic Four: First Steps. Its various conflicts are more compelling, it has better heroes and villains, a more coherent plot and - best of all - it knows what it wants to be and who its audience is.

There are an awful lot of gofundmes for LGBT refugee camps in Sudan run by dudes who are clearly not from Sudan.

Went to #Superman    this evening. The more I think about it the more I find myself incredibly disappointed. Far from a return to glory, it's a tonal mess with an overstuffed plot and a disappointing villain. David Corenswet was good. Review coming tomorrow.

Rewatching #Andor S1 and it absolutely baffles me that anyone who actually gets to the end of the third episoode could call it "boring" with a straight face.

Rogue One always hit hard but it hits so much harder after #Andor Season 2. That's the mark of a great prequel (which Rogue One already was). A really great prequel enriches and expands the story and its characters. Andor succeeds at this in ways few prequels ever have, on par with Better Call Saul.

I've just finished watching the entire second season of #Andor. It's absolutely phenomenal. I'll have a full review up next week. For now, all I can say is that it's extremely well-crafted. Not just some of the best #StarWars ever made, but some of the best television period.

You really were a great swordsman. Rest in peace, Val Kilmer. There will never be another one like you.

I've never really been into medical dramas, but I absolutely love The Pitt. It's the best show on TV right now. Just extraordinary, emotionally powerful and so intense. And somehow they manage to tell all these stories, amdist all the chaos of a busy ER, without it being hard to follow.

Gerran Howell is in two of the best shows on TV right now: The Pitt and Ludwig. He's great in both.

Severance spoilers ahead.

The season 2 finale of this series was simply astonishing, but one of the most striking things about that final scene was its resemblance to The Graduate (1967) which I discuss in my review. (1/10)

Get ready for an incredible finale to Severance Season 2 tonight. And to perhaps my best and most in-depth (and certainly longest) review of the show so far. Stay tuned...
