Members of the organizing team for the Janesville #NoKings rally estimated that the crowd numbers more than 1,000 people. This is just a small segment who were crowded at a street corner at one end of the park where the rally is being held.

Drawings for hobbyists who wanted to scratchbuild structures or railroad cars were a common feature of the magazine for decades. Anyway, 2 months later the magazine published a letter from a reader who found it "disgusting" that the hobby magazine had forced him to think about "politics".... (2/2)
![Text of a letter to the editor, and the editor's reply, published in Model Railroader, Magazine, October 1977:
"Disgusting feature: Enclosed please find one of the most disgusting features ever to appear in your magazine. If I had wanted such coverage, I would have subscribed for Newsweek rather than MR. I pick up my MR hoping to escape from the world of poltics; hence, I do not feel the aforementioned feature should take up space that might have been put to better use. The fact that I obliterated the N&W drawings to return this article should convey my opinion to you. (Signed) Kevin Neis, Saint Joseph, Ill.
[Mr. Neis is referring to the article and drawings of President Carter's hometown depot [August], which he returned to us. As far as I have been able to determine, this is the first time anyone has returned an article he didn't like. -- R.G.L.]"
