The insider threat programs were not perfect by any means but this makes them drastically worse and more ineffective… unless the goal is to welcome those who were deemed insider threats prior to the current administration.

Beyond bad policy they are simply ethically wrong. These changes will hurt readiness, embolden extremists, and harm morale within the ranks.

These changes are bad policy - ones that will make extremists feel more welcome in the Coast Guard and any other agencies or branches where they are implemented.
