Played the game "Aspens" with my partner earlier today.
Really good pacing and real easy to learn.

In about 25 minutes we covered the board with trees.

Another sci-fi doodle that won't be in the game we're working on.

True story: Crocodile Dundee fundamentally changed a game script I'm working on.

We were working a scene set in 1978. We were struggling to make a character relatable and wanted a cultural touchstone to help. So we gave the character a background of having lived in Australia.

Sometimes I put a lot of effort into a doodle, only to later realize it was going in the wrong direction.

This was a concept that had to be abandoned because it wasn't true to the needs of the story.
