Thanks for this piece. This is important. Apparently, we're not very good at distinguishing between "I don't feel comfortable hearing this" and "I don't think this is true because..." Essentially we're using our gut feelings as proof. Unfortunately some politicians are very good at exploiting this.

What he basically said is: We buy weapons from the US for Ukraine. If Trump gets angry and stops this flow, Ukraine is in trouble. We don't produce enough at this moment. He thinks he has to suck up to Trump to save Ukraine until we can handle this alone.
