No, and you are correct, it was mostly about only caring about Americans (according to the GOP’s definition) i.e. a subset of US citizens. Refugees in Kenya were never included in this group. One could argue soft power could be a part of the strategy but that was not the image the campaign projected

Well they pass through the straits all the time to reach the Atlantic and/or return to Baltiysk or wherever they are based. Messing with the UNCLOS would not be beneficial to neither Sweden nor Denmark.

Lol this is a prime example why I have such a hard time respecting libertarians. They read A Modest Proposal and agree it’s truly a remarkable idea, might make the kids a bit sad but you have to think of the poor souls who have to pay taxes.

Very conflicted about the Swiss tbh, not long since they helped every dictator and oligarch to hide their stolen money (a bit better now though) and the war in Ukraine has shown they’re about as reliable allies as the US under the Trump admin.
