So I'm in Sevilla and I hád to take a photo of this old once tobacco factory, where Don José first laid eyes on the factory girl Carmen, from the most wonderful opera of which I once (1996) had the audacity to translate (humorously) to Dutch.

Sorry, but no one can now say: "We didn't realize the consequences! We had NO idea!" Yes, we did. :-)

My wonderful wife took me to London to see "Here We Are" (the last Sondheim musical) which was absolutely brilliant, and next night "Titanique", wich made me laugh so much and so hard that it actually hurt! And Lauren Drew (as Céline Dion) should have won the Olivier!!! Brilliant! 😂
