The house I bought came with a cooker. The people before us were very sensible and still had the receipt from 1976. The cooker finally died in 2021. In today's money that old Tricity Fanfare was £1600. Money well spent. A £400 cooker today wouldn't last half as long.

They're a menace in the country too. I live in rural Northumberland and drive an old Mazda 2. I off-road in it a few times a year and drive tiny roads most journeys. I've never had a problem. Those SUVs are for posing, and intimidating other drivers.

Well... kinda? If by "deciding not to have them anymore" you mean taking medication to lessen the severity of the symptoms, or going to therapy.
