Here for writing, books, and D&D!
You know, coffee and Disney, too. Plus Star Wars.
So true! I don’t have a lot of books. There are some I keep, but most get brought to a local used/new bookstore. I tend not to read any that I buy-at least not right away. Some I’ve had for 2-3 years. One I had for 8 years before giving up on ever reading it.

I’m not that far in, but I’m enjoying Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead. It was written by Olga Tokarczuk, translated by Antonia Lloyd-James. Her writing style has something poetic about it. The use of capitalization in some words within sentences brings a different meaning to the text.

The Blue Jays That Grew a Forest is an absolute gem! My second graders are going to love this book written by @lynnstreetbooks.bsky.social and illustrated by Anne Hunter (Sorry I didn’t tag you- I wasn’t sure which was your account).
It’s a must have for your collection! The end pages are gorgeous!

I started this series years ago as the books were coming out, but gave up around book 8. I restarted the series 12 years ago and am down to the final 2!

I don’t always cross my paws, but when I do, I’m extra handsome. Oh I also always cross my paws. Happy Caturday.

I'm in the 2nd half of my final semester at FDU. Time to move more revisions for the 1st half of my middle grade fantasy novel to my lap top.
A light color ink made it hard to see my own edits 😂
It'll get to you Prof! Really I will!

My work buddy. He stayed for a while why I worked on revisions on my thesis for my MFA.

I finished this book for the third time in the past couple weeks-I have a paper to write-& cried again. It’s amazing. Sorry I cut off the cover. I tabbed & highlighted a lot-It so helps me process books. Great books. Books I can learn from, to help my own writing, and to help me be a better person.

@sportsradiowip.bsky.social if the tush push gets banned, they better be ready to flag every okay where a runner gets stopped/slowed by the D and the offense comes in hitting and pushing back, too.

I saw a squirrel in our back porch on the piled furniture. It looked at me and ran-with about 5 tissues in its mouth!

Try two (his name and song title weren’t in the original post picture)

Spot on lyrics by REN from his song Money Game. He’s got some great songs with powerful lyrics. Plus he’s just an incredible artist.

I’m starting this one tonight! I’ve read a handful of Kate DiCamillo’s books and loved them all. I actually don’t know anything about this book and decided not to read any descriptions. Such an exciting life I lead…
