It does say that people who agree will be exempt from the return to office requirements, due to their impending resignation. But it’s clear that the resignation is effective September 30.

It’s not even a buyout. It’s an agreement to resign effective September 30. I saw the email. There is nothing in it about being paid for hours not worked.
