Because the people who are supposed to be watching the watchmen... aren't. Which means it falls to the people to hold our leaders to account.

If I were trans, that wouldn't affect anyone but me. Seems to me like it's never been about individual freedom or liberty. It's always been about status quo and an inability to treat "different" as anything other than a make believe moral imperative.
