I was 16. Seeing phish and having the time of my life. Gas was .99 cents and a pack of camels had gone up to like 2.75. Was seeing modern weed for the first time around then (grew up hella rural)

I flew my boy and myself out for phish at gorge in 09. We went to Vancouver first for a few days. The only thing I asked him to bring. A tent. I assumed he had said tent. About an hour away from the gorge and he’s like stop at Walmart so I can get a tent. There were no Walmarts. We slept in a car.

I was a guest at a dinner at the residence of the French ambassador. At the next table was the preacher and his wife of the church I attended as a 2-6 year old.
