It's a certain type of human I will literally never understand.

You have no idea how glad some of us Mavs fans are he's gone. Great offensive talent. Singular, even. Poor human that eventually made me dislike the only NBA team I've cared about. Sapped my whole fandom . Went from missing zero games the last 10 of last 11 years to watching two this season.

I'm in the mid of a watchthru right now (over the course of months as I don't watch TV much) and it's exactly that liberalism - something I didnt realize upon initial watch as a child/teen/20-something - that attracted me at the time. Hate to hear the new ones, which I haven't seen, go away from it.

It'd be even greater if I could watch even a single game of my personal favorite team. Alas, blackouts.

Aye. We got The Substance and Conclave in my 100th-biggest market. Not any of the others.

Lots of us haven't been able to legally watch those, sadly, and won't be able to until springtime or later.

Your prose here is spectacular. Well done, sir.

Lucky, dude. She canceled her show nearest me when she got sick, or whatever.

Bag that. I'm a Millennial journalist and I sure as snot don't do such things.

Fun fact: it's actually a TD-to-INT ratio.

Ha. Fair enough. I know zero about it.

Most libraries do, yes. Kids watch those more than traditional movies.

Our dog definitely picked up on my nerves for the Rangers in Game 6 and 7. Some good pup snuggles, at least, but I felt sorta bad.

We have grown to really love it, too. Have had season passes the last two years. Easy two-hour drive from the Dale.

We're thinking about going today. Haven't since summer. I usually have to pass on the coasters because my 10yo isn't quite ready for them, he says.

Did you - ahem - travel through time?
October 22, 2023 at 2:34 PM
Hear, hear. Try covering college sports in the American South. Have to imagine they're awfully similar.

BTW, you still in Conway even now that the kiddos are out?

Buddy, my term final for Comp I equivalent (we called them Freshman Writing Seminars at Cornell) came across my path last year when mom shed her old computer and, mercy me, a kid on the right path, but definitely a kid.
