For the cover illustration I usually start with an AI generated draft that I re-work in inkscape or Photopea. Since it is a hobby I don't invest too much money 😅

For me it is the opposite, I find it difficult to write something too long, but I think fantasy requires longer books because you have to build the world, magic system etc... For urban fantasy or paranormal romance this is done already, everybody knows what vampire and werewolves are.

Having a child is a big investment nowadays, both in terms of money and time. It is probably better not to have a child than to have a child you can't afford to raise properly.

Working on a second edition for my first book, Fangs, Fame and Fine Art. When I read it know I feel like the first few chapters needed more work.

Series for me as they are lower risk. With stand-alones there is a higher chance I won't like the book than with a series. Also many authors make the first book in the series free so you can try before you buy. 😁

Since writing is not my 'day job' I focus more on writing what I like, however I have pretty common tastes in books so I expect many other people to enjoy my books also. 😁

There is however a deep satisfaction in sharing the craziness my imagination produces. 😜
