While out voting today in South Philadelphia I observed four PPA agents ticketing people pulling up to vote.
This is an issue. This is a poll tax in a majority Black and brown area.

As community organizers ask the questions of “where do we go from here” it’s important to understand the historic precedent of anti-trans narratives as a tool for entrenching fascism and the overt vilification of a community as a tool for violent and deadly interventions.

As community organizers ask the questions of “where do we go from here” it’s important to understand the historic precedent of anti-trans narratives as a tool for entrenching fascism and the overt vilification of a community as a tool for violent and deadly interventions.
As the government moves into furthering the second class status of the entire trans community, it is now more important than ever to push back against these anti trans mechanisms as loudly as you can. State sponsored transphobia is only increasing by the day.

The escalation of anti-trans propaganda will lead to violence against trans people - which is at historic highs and actively being concretized by government officials. No matter how fabricated; the anti-trans ecosystem takes often incorrect or incomplete stories and spins them to absolute truths.

I don’t know for sure but I would put my money on the fact that the largest news media company in the country (Fox News) creates an ecosystem that never fractures its party lines and loyalty including when the market is literally in free fall.
But hey who knows.
