CHFA provides down payment assistance up to 4%. Purchasing a $500k home, this 4% DPA equals $19,400 and is used to cover the entire $15,000 down payment and closing costs. Remaining closing costs are just $7,100. If the buyer negotiates a seller concession of $6,100 they purchase with just $1,000.
