Veterans Day 2025
My dad was a high school All-American football player before he was drafted to serve in the 6th Army Air Corp during WW II at age 17. Despite not graduating from high school, he got a college football scholarship and went on the play a pre-season with the Steelers.

On this Memorial Day I honor my cousin, William H. Yount Jr., who was KIA in the Vietnam war in 1970. He was an attack helicopter pilot and a squadron leader. He was 27 years old. It was his third tour.
