It is roughly to scale I got a floor plan and scaled that as a reference and have just eyeballed it from there

Blender is very good, there are a few stable builds that I have never had any issues with, and having it on steam makes it easy to manage updates if I want to update 😁 you should try it out, it is free so if you don't like it there is no loss.

Oh yea I've used Maya a little it is great for animation! But that is what I used it for the most 😁
