But wanting and respecting federalism is not the same as agreeing that some citizens should matter more because they live in small states. I wish we lived in a country where all citizens were treated equally before the law, the electoral college and the senate run directly counter to that desire

As a Minnesotan, I find that offensive both electorally and just on principle of disliking the Dakotas, they should be forced to combine with Montana and change the name to West Minnesota 😂

I doubt it’s that complicated, it’s more the house saying fuck you to the senate. The houses republicans are supposed to like the house democrats more than any member of the senate and vice versa. Congress was designed to pit the house and senate against each other

I don’t travel very often but seeing people not do this is so infuriating. Unless you’re a small child (hey the look of excitement on a child’s face when they see their bag is worth it) or need extra time to get your bag, back the he’ll up

Not necessarily, some people have medical issues that prevent them from getting vaccinations. To those people, RFK Jr. is an even bigger threat that to the rest of us. I’m not sure what specifically this case was, but there very well could be additional factors.
