Ok so then the Federal government bans exports from blue states until their businesses pay the IRS and blue state economies collapse.
It's a nice pipe dream but for 100000 reasons isn't realistic or even advisable.

It'd be nice but the article is wrong. Enforcement wouldn't come from Feds on states but Feds on businesses. The IRS can and would start fining all businesses that didn't send withheld employees' tax to the IRS. Business pressure alone would cause states to cave quickly.

And yes I know "talk is cheap" so going to see how they act. But it still is very good to see so many Democrats realize where the center of gravity is now.
