Bailey's is low key chill, regardless of the variety. You can't go wrong.

I get the sentiment, but can honestly say this has never been my go-to when looking for "Simple, easy, comforting".

I'd say a burger and a Guinness would do it for me. But that's just me... No judgement, just my $0.02 worth.

"The amount of terrible people I have to sift through to get a decent person is .. insufferable."

Fixed it for you.

I've heard it said about Chinese restaurants that the more faded the menu options are on the wall behind the counter, the better the food. I'm willing to research this for the public good.

Erm... So yeah, didn't eat as fast.

Appreciate the flex that you have mac n cheese, but wolfing it down so fast that you get to the to the point of gastrointestinal distress is uncalled for.

Solid. I'm with you.

Ok I'm with you.

Can't say my local place is we excessively greasy, but it's definitely good. I thinking my experience might be better/different if I went in to NYC and did take away. May have to try that.

I stopped reading at "ate pizza".

Pizza makes everything better.

Erm....explain more please. What is a kickin' dill corn snack experience and how do I get one?

I don't know if the recipes actually line up, but this sounds similar to some fantastic soup I had on the Aran Islands outside of Ireland in 2006. Yes, the soup was that good that I remember clearly when it was and where I was.

This ranks about 27th on the list of things over the past few years that makes me shake my head ruefully.

Disagreements with mustard?

Far from it. I'll bring the beer.

Not a huge fan of lamb personally, but overall sounds like a solid plan. Dinner is at what time then?

This is a plus?

Seems like the bread disposal process was not completed.

Normally, it would be:

Discover bread is moldy
Throw bread in the bin
Take the bag out of the bin
Put bag in outside trash bin
Trash collection occurs

If you still have it within smelling range it seems your efforts stalled at step #2.

Explain please. The more detail the better.
December 15, 2025 at 3:30 AM
Right. Love to give it a try. Have one sent round and I'll post my thoughts.

The last time I was in Boston a few years ago I saw a Dunkin on almost every other corner. Has Starbucks really made any inroads in town?

New York City is photogenic on a normal day. Adding snow to the mix just takes things to another level.
