Another term for the “organization “, was coined best by Jane Jacobs (another Canadian): a Monstrous Moral Hybrid. They employ the functions of police power toward commercial ends, corrupting both. Good examples of MMHs: Drug cartels, mafias, command control economies, authoritarian regimes.
Canadian MP Charlie Angus: The message I’m hearing from people across Canada is this: they’re not afraid of you. They know you’re a convicted felon. They know that the people you’re bringing in to run your, let’s call it an “organization” rather than a government, are grifters, thieves, and thugs.
