Listen, if they didn’t have to bring some money in to balance the books I’d certainly keep him but I don’t think that’ll actually be his best position. Think he’s better a bit deeper cos of his lack of pace. As you say, timing not great.

You’d be buying high. In the ‘tidy footballer’ category he’s at the very top. And the ‘I really wish he’d made it at Liverpool’ one. Just falls short of elite in about three different positions though for me.
