ABC was created in 1943 because of an effort by the FCC to break up a radio monopoly. The new network was a breath of fresh air, and our country was at war with fascists. Anti-fascism was a patriotic cause, and it still is. But ABC has now turned on our country for the sake of a merger. How ironic.

The framers of our Constitution did not want the President to decide who gets to speak freely. For the sake of our future all of us must get loud about this. Not violent. Just loud. If the Red Coats can silence Jimmy Kimmel over a merger, they’ll be in your house soon, gagging you. Get loud.

I predict Trump voters will split along these lines: The transactional types versus the mean ones. One side hoped for lower taxes and prices, and it isn't going well. The others will always be thrilled by Trump's daily bluster. Offer voters beneficial governance and most will reject useless cruelty

“Give us this day our daily threat…” Uh, no thanks. Polls show mainstream Americans are shying away from this vindictive President, his attack dogs and bulging billionaires. He’s all about threats and firings, not progress. The federal government is getting more dysfunctional, not less.
