Dad passed tonight and I felt the need to draw something, because it’s probably a better idea than drinking. This is a recreation of one of my favorite picture of my parents. They were a young couple very much in love and I was literally born of out it. I’m grateful for the days we had together.

25 years ago today he died. 25 years ago tomorrow, his final strip appeared in newspapers. In another 25 years, there might not be newspapers, but in 250 years, I know someone will be reading Peanuts for the first time or the nth time. Hell of a legacy.

A paid commission which technically keeps me a semi-professional cartoonist for another tax year.
