Recently worked from Soyu, a new coffee shop on Chestnut. Nice space, refreshing tea, and not too far from campus. I’ll be back for more writing and matcha. #coffeeshopchronicles

Worked on a R&R and mapped out the shell of a fall keynote (I had to submit a description so I was forced to start early) from Vault + Vine in East Falls. Soaked up sun, enjoyed the company of a good friend, and picked up some trinkets. I did not buy plants! #coffeeshopchronicles

I don’t cycle but was walking by when a cyclist pleasantly yelled “Hey Pepsi driver, thanks for leaving the bike lane open!”

Reflecting on my recent experience at the WTG Scholars’ Retreat last week. So much gratitude for such an affirming and supportive space and community. Looking forward to the work and development that will come out of this!

‘Twas the last day before the start of summer camp & mama has deadlines so we went to a local fav to work. I got in a few hours of writing while they read, chatted, & played quietly. My 10 year old softly sang along to nearly every 80s song in the shop’s rotation. So proud lol #coffeeshopchronicles

Spent a couple of days in Davis with one of my favorite professional associations. I worked, I soaked up the sun, and wrote from a local coffee shop of course (Pachamama). Reminded me of my time at Stanford in some ways. #coffeeshopchronicles

My sister sent me this gem yesterday. I’ve never seen this one before. I think it’s so cute that we were twinning! I’m also thankful for aunties for stayed with pictures in photo albums. The picture is not that clear but I plan to get the original and have it blown up and framed.

The matcha bar! So many good options. They even had a strawberry and matcha swirl ice cream in a red velvet cone. Someone had it yesterday and it looked amazing. I may or may not go back there today 🙃
