I agree. One of my favorite books is Avedon At Work in the American West by Laura Wilson, who worked with Avedon during the the eponymous project. It’s informative of his process from a 2nd hand perspective. It includes behind the scenes photos (she too is a photographer) and letters. Informative.

Hadn’t thought about this kind of immersive detail. This is good for thought. I like it more than critical roles “hot tub chat”, and it probably suits my group’s play style better.
