One of my favorite artists of any kind. Eraserhead, Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, The Straight Story, Elephant Man… 👏🏼 I also loved his little piece on creativity and meditation in Rick Rubin’s excellent Shangri-La series, and his hilarious scene as John Ford in The Fabelmans. RIP, David Lynch.

Is there intelligent life beyond Earth, and has it visited us? If so, can we interact positively with a non-human intelligence? To the first part, I would say yes, almost certainly. But I worry about the second part, when we can be so fearful and hateful of our own terrestrial neighbors. 🫤
