Anyone want to play “spot the difference”?

The doge.gov website has been updated with its “receipts” claiming to have saved the American taxpayer $55 billion. Only problem is when you add everything up it only comes to $22 billion, and… a single entry is overstated by $7,992,000,000. I don’t have time to check them all, but shouldn’t they?

Translation: I can do anything I want to do regardless of the law, Congress or the courts so long as I say I’m doing it on behalf of the country.

This is not “kind of” what a dictatorship looks like it is exactly what a dictatorship looks like.

Lies lies lies.
The $$$ was not for disaster relief but for a migrant relief program approved by a bipartisan Congress. It does not house illegal immigrants, but legal migrants, & the “luxury hotel” was shut down by NYC a few years ago & turned into a migrant shelter.

Take this shit seriously. They plan to ignore court orders at every level, I would imagine up to including the Supreme Court. Even if a court orders them not to do something how is it going to enforce it? Do you think Donald Trump‘s going to send federal marshals after himself?

This is incorrect. Check the fine print. It specifically says the resignation date is September 28, 2025 and goes on further to say “and/or put me on administrative leave until my resignation date. In other words, even if you sign, they could force you to continue to work.
DO BETTER

Given your reach, you should really be giving people good info. The way it’s written, even if you resign they can still make you continue to work until your “resignation” day. “And/or placing me on administrative leave”- you need to do better.

If you sign they can still make you work until your resignation day. Read the fine print. This is a scam.
