For years when there was a council vacancy in Aurora, council would often appoint a partisan crony who would proceed to fall flat on their face in the next election. 3C goes a long way in placing the filing of a vacant seat into the hands of the people of the city.

"We'd all be at brunch" was a problematic sentiment in 2016 and it's a problematic one now. Cancel brunch and carry whatever energy you brought yesterday forward not only in election years but in your city council meetings and community.
