What was the alternate ending? Trump would have kept the govt shutdown until Jan 20, 2029. He doesn’t care. Those people can’t be shamed. You were never getting a real ACA vote. Just federal workers missing rent and SNAP recipients going broke. And for what?

What would that have achieved? He would have gladly kept the govt closed until Jan 20, 2029 (unless he cancelled all elections) while collected money from all his grifts.
