Acme Thunderer is a great choice… probably the most copied of all designs, but the real Acme ones are the best. They are pretty inexpensive, and widely available in the US.

I desperately need new tires, but stupid Avon can’t get their act together, so Roadrider Mk II in 3.25-19 F/R won’t be available until sometime next year.

There’s two sizes of Acme Tornado. The one second from left is the obscenely loud one. It’s lower pitch than the much more popular Fox 40, which most referees use. The only one with a pea is the Thunderer on the right. It’s got that classic sound.

Fox 40 is perfect for that!

I’m telling you, if you want to tap into whistle expertise, hang out in the soccer ref forums. I’ve got whistles that’ll stop 12-year-old boys in their tracks instantly!

Orthodox metropolitan is the kind with standard gauge tracks and catenary or third rail power. Unorthodox is those new fangled monorail things.

To be fair, environmental law is public health adjacent. But the Trump administration has severed that connection too. Your analogy is still valid though.

Not many produced or survived. Edward Turner’s swan song, along with the even more rare BSA Fury.

Didn’t that style of car used to be called a “shooting break”? Sounds way cooler than a station wagon I guess.

By once in a lifetime he means at least twice in my lifetime (I’ll probably live to see a third)!

It’s a hoax but we’re investigating Dems

Tariffs were working but we’re removing them

We’re super popular, the election results were about something else

We control all three houses of govt but the shut down was their fault

Immigrants don’t pay tax but were finding them through the IRS

When did you go from this to just caving in, giving up, and selling your constituents out? Maybe Allegiant will up its PAC donations to you now. Good job! Thanks for nothing.

You flubbed this twice now. Big time! You proved you WON’T keep fighting, and you will ALWAYS back down when it gets hard. Step down now. Your caucus needs a new leader, and you refuse to recognize that fact.

I’m voting no, because I found 8 lame ducks to vote with republicans so I can pretend that I personally held on to some principles. You’re so transparent Chuck!

Nice try. You orchestrated this. It would have failed if you actually led your caucus. Instead, you let it happen and ducked under the cover the 8 defectors gave you.

Stop justifying your lack of leadership.

There’s a real book about growing up in Appalachia (among others): Crum by Lee Maynard.
