The @cursor.com.web.brid.gy integration of Gemini apparently favors self-flagellation over failing gracefully. I've never seen an AI Assistant in IDE give up on problems and spiral like a house elf. I'm curious if others have encountered this.

By the most important standard — the capacity to write a reasonably humorous episode of Rick and Morty — chatgpt-4 is a big leap forward. It even came up with the phrase "quantum paradox resolver," which Google could locate on just a single page across the interwebs.
Title: "Rick and Morty and the Quantum Paradox" INT. RICK'S GARAGE - MORNING RICK is hunched over his workbench, tinkering with a strange device. MORTY enters, rubbing sleep from his eyes. MORTY: What are you up to, Rick? RICK: (not looking up) Just working on a quantum paradox resolver, Morty. MORTY: A what? RICK sighs, rolls his eyes, and holds up the device. RICK: It's a device that resolves quantum paradoxes, Morty. You know, like Schrödinger's cat? MORTY: Oh, the cat that's both dead and alive? RICK: (smirking) That's the one, Morty. RICK: (sighs) Finally. They turn around to see BETH standing there, holding a bottle of wine. BETH: (sarcastically) Thanks for the help, guys. RICK: (shrugs) Anytime, Beth. BETH rolls her eyes and walks away. RICK and MORTY look at each other, then burst out laughing. RICK: (still laughing) Oh, Morty, the look on her face!
