It would worry me to give google a greater monopoly over the web than it already has. I do not trust google to have the populous' best interests in mind with a hypothetical verification system

They are removing the barred owl from places where it doesn't belong. This is far from "killing" the entire species, in my opinion

1. The barred owl is invasive west of the Mississippi
2. The introduction of the barred owl negatively impacts the northern spotted owl
3. The northern spotted owl is designated an "at risk" species
4. The barred owl's conservation status is "least concern"
This seems justified to me
