I am the first person that is called when an observer in our program sets off an emergency beacon (EPIRB).

While the data they provide helps to determine if what we take from the ocean today will be there for us tomorrow.
Even if you don’t eat fish I promise you that what I do connects to you in some way. Fish are more than food. They are the lifeblood of coastal towns.

What I do is to try to make sure the people that collect that data are safe, have the best tools possible to do the job as efficiently, easily and as safely as possible while working in one of the most dangerous industries in the world.
