I have seen so “if Biden did that” comments. I think it’s unhelpful to spend an ounce more energy on this comparison. Trump exists in an entirely different sphere with different rules. It’s not fair, but that’s the reality. Let’s spend efforts on messages that have a chance to move the needle.

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social is the right man for the job. There are few I could think of that could pull this off effectively. We need an opposition spokesperson and a statesman desperately.
