I absolutely loved The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden. It's a fantasy based on Russian folklore. I finished it at the end of December and I'm still mentally living in that world!

This. I find myself wanting to dump more historical details into my historical fantasy because ancient Rome fanatics would hate it if I didn't, but really I want to make it nice and light and focus on the characters.
