Chillin on a Saturday

my life is more boring/peaceful than it used to be. I generally can’t afford the pairing dinners I love so much and used to frequent. But once a year or so I will splurge. Tonight I went to a lovely sake and sushi tasting dinner at my favorite restaurant and it brought up all the feelings.

I don’t really miss facebook… except maybe today. Birthdays were always a nice thing on Facebook… your feed flooded with “Happy Birthday”. I used to have parties or go places. This year I’m content to read, drink tea and watch the snow fall. This is 47. Portrait setting but no filters, no makeup

Nothing like being yelled at by an irate mother of a 20 something year old at 4:58 on Valentine’s Day because we wouldn’t give the girl birth control since we’d never given it to her before, and she’s in a different state 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Happy Valentines to you too lady. Good thing this Rioja is delightful
