I’m a lapsed Catholic. It remains 🍌🍌🍌 to me that the Pope is “God’s emissary” yet it’s an elected position. If the Pope was truly God’s chosen representative, this wouldn’t require voting & politics. Organized religion is such a sham.

Scariest part to me is “regulation cuts.” Yeah you might get a factory job, but you have a better than ever chance at losing a limb. Hooray for you!

My exception to this is my immediate family, because they are completely unreasonable. All it does is raise my blood pressure - it doesn’t raise any awareness or good points.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to cleanse myself of material possessions like food and the ability to challenge myself to live more simply without air conditioning in the south. Silver lining: I’ll lose weight due to sweating and lack of nutrients! 🎉

Yeah, it can vary wildly! A lot of the people I follow are really RV’ers but they do a lot of boondocking vs parks, stay in one place for a while, etc. Check out the book/movie Nomadland. It’s fascinating!

I’m late Gen X and in mostly the same boat. My retirement plan is to live on whatever I have at age 62 or 65. If that means poor (vs Instagram) van life, so be it. Anyone wanna convoy?!

Wholeheartedly agree about Dem constituents & who needs to be replaced! What I want from current Sen/Reps is impeachment proceedings, lawsuits, standing up to Trump - literally ANYTHING except the thumb-twiddling we see now (except from those you’ve mentioned).
