The start of this 5.13 was surprisingly doable. Absolutely no way I was going any higher. There are some cool new routes set at the gym right now.

Starting to get back into climbing 5.10s after a finger tendon injury 2 months ago. Still not touching crimps though.
Here’s a white 5.10b. The footholds at the top were pretty slippery.

Climbing session ended early tonight after I felt and heard a crack/snap in my lefthand middle finger on a crimp. I was able to move it, so hopefully it isn’t too bad.

Cooked up this Dragonite ex deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket the other day and it’s been pretty consistent. Dragon decks are finally usable.

Got new evolve Kronos climbing shoes today. I was previously wearing Scarpas, and I think I like these more so far.

Completed two new 5.10b routes last night. Still haven’t completed a 5.10c, but maybe Saturday will be the day.

The hardest route I completed today was this blue 5.10b on the outcropping. It had one big move and a lot of awkward body positioning.

3.5 hours of climbing today. Flashed this blue 5.10b. I found a cool 5.10c that doesn’t look too bad that I may attempt on Monday.

Flashed this gray 5.10 last night. The “ladder” of slopers in the middle of the route wasn’t great. And the vertical pinch above them was horrendous.

Flashed this black 5.10 that’s an overhang all the way up. 5.10 seems like a high grade considering all of the jugs. Maybe I’ll attempt a 5.11 soon.

Completed my first 5.8 on Monday (video) and my first 5.9 today. I’m currently working on another 5.9 and a few 5.10s as well.

After dislocating my ankle while bouldering on June 21st, I was able to get back to climbing three weeks later on July 11th. Only top rope for now. Hopefully, I’ll be able to start bouldering again some time in August.
I haven’t even completed a 5.7 yet due to my injured ankle and knee (unrelated).
