I'm on a new kick of "cities should just buy sports teams instead of funding stadiums for billionaires" and while I know the leagues would stop that in a HEARTBEAT it's fun to imagine a world where "ownership" sees prioritizing winning as a civic service to it's shared community

I’m in my 30s and truly believe I’ll die without seeing the Reds win a World Series.
Oh and this is a “they need to spend more” post and not a “baseball needs a salary cap” post.
