China not only has a global trade surplus, but it's grown past $1 trillion in spite of Trump's disastrous tariff policies and trade wars.

China is far outpacing the US in global trade now because Trump alienated the rest of the world.

In honor of this Thanksgiving season, let's discuss some US history! Particularly a history of the brutalities committed against the native population, and the role that figures like Christopher Columbus played in helping to facilitate mass enslavement and genocide led by the Europeans:

BREAKING NEWS:

After Trump's recent cordial meeting with Zohran Mamdani, he has agreed to allow schools to teach Arabic numerals!

What's next? Free halal school lunches!?

People often make the mistake of referring to our current situation as "late stage" capitalism

But modern American capitalism, in the grand scheme of things, is still quite young

This of course further emphasizes the failures of the system, although hybridized to varying degrees in recent history

After months of trying desperately to bury this scandal, he's now publicly reversing his stance because his administration has made sure to comb through and selectively omit every document, every word, every piece of evidence that could implicate him and anyone he's trying to protect.

When Trump misleadingly claimed that Thanksgiving will be "25 percent cheaper" this year, he was citing a prepackaged Thanksgiving meal basket from Walmart that contains nearly half the food compared to previous meal "baskets."

Here are some highlights from the emails and documents obtained and released by Democrats:

Epstein to Ghislaine Maxwell:

“I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump. [Victim] spent hours at my house with him … he has never once been mentioned.”

Healthcare has been at the center of this unprecedented shutdown fight, and even if there is a future vote on ACA subsidies or amending previous cuts, there's no indication that Republicans will change their minds about locking in rising healthcare costs and these cuts to Medicaid...

The Trump administration claims that Americans will lose close to 400 lbs over the next year...

No wonder they want to defund SNAP...

Trump pardons his corrupt lackeys and conspirators, financial frauds and tax evaders; signaling to political allies and kleptocrats that they can commit crimes with impunity.

This week's election results indicate a sharp rebuke of Trump and his policies.

MAGA is coping by trying desperately to downplay the outcome of these elections, arguing something to the effect of, "Democrats were expected to win, this means nothing, try harder libs!"
November 7, 2025 at 10:44 PM
There is a blatant double standard on display.

Trump has stripped the presidency of all its dignity, and for a multitude of reasons. He constantly insults, belittles and taunts not just public officials, but private citizens as well.
November 7, 2025 at 8:10 AM
Let's hope that tonight's election results indicate a sharp rebuke of Trump, his policies and his corrupt administration, and let's also hope that it emboldens some fresh democratic leaders willing to break from the status quo.

Republicans have been claiming for years that they are devising a healthcare plan of their own.

If we ever do get a GOP backed plan, in place of universal healthcare, we'll see the universal privatization of healthcare. Meaning conflicts of interest, lining of pocket and dead poor people of course.

These extrajudicial bombings were never about ending drug smuggling or whatever talking point the Trump administration is going with, it's always been about toppling the Maduro regime. At least Trump says the quiet part out loud now, claiming, "Maduro's days are numbered."

Republicans have been steadily suppressing the vote for years, but what really helped accelerate this effort was January 6th and Trump's 'big lie" of a stolen election.

The GOP has basically seized on the opportunity to sow distrust in our elections...

The federal government has been taking actions like targeting exhibits at Museums that educate people about aspects of American history like slavery and Jim Crow. These exhibits have been deemed "woke" for their focus on uncomfortable historical truths.

The cognitive tests Trump always brags about taking are usually administered when there's a valid concern about mental decline.

But Trump is under the impression that allegedly passing a test requiring him to identify commonly known animals by their drawings is somehow a testament to his genius.

Interventionism and expansionism are justified when it suits Trump's political goals or narratives. He is carrying out extrajudicial killings and war crimes; threatening our allies; currying favor with foreign dictators; instigating trade wars; and unilaterally intervening in foreign affairs.

Republicans have the gall to claim that Democrats are "holding the country hostage" while they are abusing their trifecta of power to not only prolong a shutdown, but to avoid a vote on releasing Epstein related materials, and Mike Johnson is using this shutdown as an excuse.
November 1, 2025 at 5:01 AM
All this recent bragging from Trump and his administration about his tariffs increasing federal revenue is utterly disingenuous.

Yes, when you tax imports, those taxes collect more money, shocker!

But that's not even the point... (1/x)

There is a massive campaign on Twitter right now involving thousands of right-wing caricatures and mouthpieces for the current regime who are inundating user's feeds with anti-SNAP propaganda. A concerted effort to defend the Trump admin's cruel decisions and unlawful policies.
October 29, 2025 at 4:44 AM
It's baffling watching Trump supporters bend over backwards to defend his constant lies, his abuses of power, his undermining of democratic norms, his corruption and his monetizing of the presidency to the tune of billions.
